‘The Young and The Restless’ POLL: Do You Feel Bad for Victor Newman? Does The Mustache Deserve Our Sympathy?

‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that things are going to get much worse for Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] in coming days. If you’re an Abbott, you might thing that this is karma coming to The Mustache that’s been building for a while – but does Victor deserve what he’s facing?

Let’s consider what Victor is done versus the trouble he’s now in – read then vote in our POLL on whether you feel bad for Victor…

#1 Marco Annicelli – No doubt Victor was a real cad for bringing Marco in to be Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger. If it had just been about business, that can be put down to the longstanding Jack-Victor rivalry. But letting Marco bed down with Phyllis Newman [Gina Tognoni] was just bad form.

#2 Noah Newman – Victor did everything he could to shield Noah Newman [Robert Adamson] from trouble for the Billy Abbott [Jason Thompson] hit and run – until it suited him not to… Victor had no problem throwing Noah under the bus as a pawn in the Santori power play.

#3 Adam Newman – The blackmail of Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] over him being Christian’s father was a jerk move by Victor but even worse is that Victor is allowing Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] to grieve a child he knows isn’t his son’s. That’s double dirty dealing with two sons.

#4 Jack Abbott – Victor’s blackmailing Jack on the assumption that he killed Kelly and blew up a boat of people. Jack was only acting in self-defense but Victor is playing it up all he can. Plus Victor left his nemesis in the hands of crazy Kelly which put Jack in physical danger as well as his sobriety at risk.

#5 Billy Abbott – Bad enough with the “Billy Boy” remarks but stealing the internet deal while Billy was dying at Genoa City Hospital was next-level bad guy action. Taking that deal out from under his dying former son-in-law was one of the most callous things he’s done.

Y&R spoilers indicate that when Victor is arrested for his Marco crimes, he’ll suffer a major medical event – likely a heart attack – that will leave him at the GC hospital rather than a GCPD jail cell – at least for now. Will seeing Victor in a hospital gown and looking frail make you feel sorry for him?
