'The Young And The Restless' News: Yvette Nicole Brown To Appear On 'Y&R'Good things are happening at the CBS studios. ‘The Young And The Restless‘ spoilers tease that Yvette Nicole Brown will be making a guest appearance on the April 4th episode of the CBS soap opera. Apparently this has been one of her greatest dreams.

Brown dished to TVLine, The people at CBS found out that I’m a freakin’ fangirl and they were like, ‘Do you want to go to Genoa City?’ And I’m like, ‘Um, yeah.’ It was probably one of the most exciting calls I have ever received.”

According to ‘Y&R’ spoilers, Brown will play the role of a reporter, one who will be tied into scenes with Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). So what possible story will she be reporting? Will she be reporting on the Abbott rivalry against the Newmans?

Yvette Brown is an American singer, comedian and actress and is most well known for her role on Community, playing Shirley Bennett and on Family Guy as the voice of Jerome’s mom. She also played the role of Helen Dubois on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh, she voiced the character of Cookie on Pound Puppies which is also an animated series and she also plays the role of Dani on “The Odd Couple” which premiered in 2015 and airs on CBS, the show will also premiere its second season on April 7th.

Amongst her list of guest roles she appeared on The Office, Boston legal, That 70’s Show, The Soul Man and Chuck. Brown also had the opportunity of having supporting roles in the following films; Repo Men, Tropic Thunder, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, and finally a role on 500 Days of Summer.
