‘The Young and The Restless’ News: Michael Muhney Responds To Fans Asking For His Return To Y&R

After Justin Hartley left the role of Adam Newman on “The Young and the Restless” Michael Muhney’s loyal fans began to express how they would love for Muhney to come back and take over the role.

Michael Muhney’s fans started a petition to bring him back on Y&R and Muhney was very touched by all the outpour of love. So much that he tweeted “I just read through all the comments in this petition. Brought tears to my eyes. So blown away by people’s passion for my work.#Humbling.”

Michael Muhney also noted that he had been working on himself post- Genoa City. “I’ve been on a journey for several years. Moved away from the me that fought too many battles and covered up insecurities with ego. I just know that I like myself a lot more now than I did years ago. Had to let go of the hard-handedness. It’s a good feeling to let go.”

Rumors started floating around that part of the cause of his Y&R departure was due to his demeanor backstage, but as you can see if there’s any truth to that, Michael Muhney has definitely been working on it, in hopes to become a better person.

Although, we all know the new headwriter did report that she has no desire to bring the character of Adam Newman back, she can always change her mind. As far as him being presumed dead, well we have seen him come back from death before. So anything is possible on the soaps.

It would be absolutely amazing if Michael Muhney could come back and take over the role of Adam Newman. He always had that good vengeance side to him that fans loved. Justin Hartley has went in a new direction with his career and is one busy man now. We wish him nothing but the best. Would you like to see the role of Adam Newman be taken back over by Michael Muhney?
