Spoilers indicate that ‘The Young and the Restless’ has sent out a casting call for a new role. According to the release from Soap Opera Digest, the show is looking for an actress who is in her late 30’s.
The casting call is for a short term role. The successful actress will play the role of Fiona, who is a beautiful fashion model. She is supposed to be “a gorgeous former fashion model turned savy, smart, sophisticated business woman.”

Usually casting calls allow new daytime actresses or former soap stars to get a chance in a role. With the request for someone in their late 30’s this limits the amount of former soap stars we can consider for the role. Also the call requested someone gorgeous, so who would you like to see in this role?
The fact that the person would be a former fashion model means a possibility of her working for a fashion line in Genoa City. Which company would like to see her work for? Would you like to see her work alongside Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan)?

Will she have any connections in GC? A last name has not been released so we do not know who she may be related to, if anyone. If she has a love connection for the short time she is in Genoa City, who would you like to see her with?
