‘The Young and the Restless’ News: ‘Y&R’ Casting Call For “Marnie”- Possible Love Interest, Or Has Family Ties In GC?

‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers tease that the CBS soap has put out a casting call for what they call “a fun and beautiful woman in her late twenties to early thirties”.  The woman is said to be named “Marnie”. No word yet on who she will be tied to.

We do know with all the many shake ups going down in Genoa City, this character is bound to cause some major drama on Young and Restless.  Presently, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is experiencing some major consequences from the fallout from the reveal of his affair with his brother’s wife, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). No doubt he will need someone to turn to in the midst of this major blowup. His brother, Jack (Peter Bergman) remains furious with him and Billy has agreed to keep his distance from Phyllis per her request.

Billy is attempting to move on. Who better to help him move past this than with another beautiful woman? Could this character be someone good for him, perhaps she will be the one person that can help him move on to someone other than his brother’s wife?

Another possibility is that perhaps this woman will have an agenda, who would be behind this, Jack or perhaps Victor (Eric Braeden), it certainly would not be out of the realm of what we have seen him do. Let’s not forget the many sins Victor Newman has committed all in the name of his family.  Could Marnie have family connections already in Genoa City?

There are so many possibilities for this new character, she could be a person sent to cause more havoc or perhaps a new woman for someone in Genoa City that desperately needs to move on? Could she have any type of dangerous connections with Chloe? (Elizabeth Hendrickson) That is also another speculation that is entirely possible after all, Chloe has been very sneaky as of late. Although not enough information has been released yet as to who this woman could be, or who she is and will be connected to is pure speculation at this point.
