‘The Young and The Restless’ News: Y&R Alum George Kennedy Dead At 91

In sad news “The Young and The Restless” alum George Kennedy has passed away.  Mr. Kennedy was 91 years old and died in his sleep at his Boise, Idaho home early Sunday morning.  The news was confirmed by his grandson Cory Schenkel.

Mr. Kennedy an Oscar winning actor’s career spanned 70 years, among his other roles had a seven year stint on “Y&R” playing the character Albert Miller, the biological father to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

Mr. Kennedy’s grandson, Cory said, “The family was surprised by his passing.”   He will be laid to rest in the Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery since Mr. Kennedy was a World War II veteran.
