‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Y&R Alum Corey Sligh Arrested For Child Molestation

‘The Young and the Restless’ alum Corey Sligh was reportedly arrested in Georgia on charges of child molestation.  Y&R fans will recall that Corey Sligh had a recurring role as a bartender on the CBS soap opera, however in 2014 he made national news and was forced to take time off when he was brutally beaten and wound up in the hospital.  In 2015 Corey Sligh made news again when he tried to sue Rite Aid, because the chain store owned the parking lot he was attacked in.

TMZ is reporting that Sligh was arrested in October 2016 by the Cherokee County Sherriff’s Office on child molestation charges.  Apparently, the child’s parents went to the police and reported the incident.  Details are scare, however TMZ is reporting that the child Sligh is being accused of having sexual contact with is under the age of 10 years old.  The gossip report goes on to say, “Deputies arrested him on October 14 and released the same day on a $22k bond.”
