Even if the musical interlude is temporary, Burton is enjoying the sweet sounds: “Music to my ears at least 🙂 #fatherdaughter,” he captioned the cute Instagram pic. His parental enthusiasm is no doubt shared by his wife, Sheree Gustin.

Naturally, some Y&R fans attribute the fledgling musician’s talent to her father, the sometime rock n’ roller. “Nice. New Port Chuck member,” and, “there’s some up and coming competition,” wrote fans, alluding to Burton’s membership in the band he formed with fellow soap colleagues.
Not surprisingly, some diehard soap fans just can’t pass up an opportunity to recognize Burton for his former “General Hospital” role as Jason Morgan: “Please come back to GH,” wrote one hopeful fan.

Loyal Y&R viewers know that Dylan MacAvoy is on the horns of a dilemma. His professional duties as a Genoa City police officer are in direct conflict with his familial obligations.
