‘The Young and the Restless’ actor Michael Roark [Travis Crawford] has a new gig. The actor, who is a bit new on Y&R, has joined the new season of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ which premiered on June 2 at 9pm ET on the CW channel. Roark plays the role of Kyle Johnson in the fourth and final season.
The serial is about detective Catherine Chandler, played by Kristin Kreuk, she’s determined to get answers about her family. She is also in a relationship doctor Vincent Keller, played by Jay Ryan. He struggles with becoming a beast when angry and he is unable to control his temper. Catherine and Vincent desire to be normal people and a normal couple and struggle keep a low profile.
Apart from those aforementioned Austin Basis, Brian White, Amber Skye Noyes, Sendhil Ramamurhty, Max Brown, Nicole Gale Anderson and Nina Lisandrello also star in the fourth season. Y&R fans will have to tune in to find out more about Roark’s character Kyle Johnson when the new season premieres on CW.
Earlier this year it was reported that after four seasons, CW decided to cancel ‘Beauty and the Beast’. After a successful run of its first season in October, 2012, the series will ultimately come to an end on August 25, 2016 when its final episode is aired.
Roark currently airs on the CBS soap opera as Travis, Victoria’s [Amelia Heinle] new love interest. While there is not much known about his character background, its good the show runners decided to tie him into a major storyline! We would like to see where this love story goes and how Billy [Jason Thompson] will react.
Roark has a role in the upcoming film ‘Alabama Dirt’ in which he plays Ty Hargrove. The film should be released soon. Fans be sure to check out the fourth season of ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ and show Roark some support!
