‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Michael Roark OUT, Travis Crawford Exits Y&R

Y&R spoilers tease that it’s a sad day for Tricky (Travis & Victoria) fans! Michael Roark just announced his departure from “The Young and the Restless.”

A lot of Y&R fans have been fearing this day was coming and now it’s official. Michael Roark writes “I made a decision to move onto the next challenge in my career. Thank you fans for your support and for welcoming me, this has been an unexpected and special chapter for me.” So it appears that we have seen the last of Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) together as a couple.

When the writers brought his ex- Michelle Hazelton (Kelly Frye) to Genoa City we all had a feeling this is where they were heading with this storyline, but hoped it would not end in a break up with him leaving the show as well. Tricky had made a huge fan base until the writers brought in the cheating storyline.

Lately on Y&R it’s been kind of obvious that the writers are trying to push Victoria Newman and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) back together. Now it seems more the case since we will no longer be seeing Travis Crawford on the show.

How do you Y&R fans feel about him leaving the show? Were you hoping for a reconciliation between him and Victoria? Or would you like for Victoria to be back with Billy? Victoria and Travis had amazing on screen chemistry and it would have been great if he could have stuck around a lot longer.

We hope nothing but the best for Michael Roark and his moving on with his career. It is sad to see him go but very understandable that he has to do what is best for him. Hopefully one day we will see him on another show or he could even come back to Y&R. In the meantime stay tuned to CBS’s “The Young and Restless” to see what the future holds for Victoria Newman.
