‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Judith Chapman Returns To Y&R As Gloria

If you are a Judith Chapman fan, then boy do we have some good news for you. It appears that she will be making a visit on “The Young and the Restless” just in time for Christmas.

We will see Gloria Bardwell showing up in Genoa City on Wednesday, December 21st without warning and she will have her hubby Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) right by her side.

Judith Chapman sit down and did an interview with TV Insider and reveals the reason for her return. She says “I can tell you that Gloria wants to be reunited with her sons. She has always been led by her heart.” So Gloria will be showing up unannounced and this will take everyone by surprise especially her sons Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc).

Judith Chapman said she had already made peace with the fact that she would never be on Y&R again, but surprisingly found out that the new head writer, Sally Sussman is a huge Gloria fan. So of course this worked in her favor. Are you excited for her return?

It’s been said that Gloria will be causing some trouble while she’s around. She would not be Gloria if she didn’t. This could be Kevin Fisher’s worse nightmare having his mom back in town to butt in his life. Will she approve of his relationship to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)?

Let’s not forget the fact that Jeffrey is going to be with her. So how will Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) feel about her dad being back in town? Will he try to mooch off of her like always? I guess we will see.
