‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Jason Thompson’s Baby Bowie Meets His “Uncle” Peter Bergman

In the most dazzling male-bonding picture ever, “The Young and the Restless” stars Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) hold court with Thompson’s adorable baby, Bowie Banjo. Is it legal to have so much handsome in one picture?!

Thompson captioned the gorgeous photo, “Brother Bergman meets @BowieBanjo. @youngandrestlesscbs.” There’s no doubt that wide-eyed, onesie-clad Bowie is the star of this snap! Little Bowie is Thompson’s first child with his beautiful wife, Paloma.

Thompson and Bergman play warring brothers on TV, but obviously they’re dear friends off screen.

Both men are casually dressed for the occasion, no doubt enjoying a day off at home. Bergman is clearly delighted as he beams down at the little bundle in his arms, and Thompson shows off the million dollar smile that Y&R and GH fans have come to love.

Dark-haired baby Bowie is dwarfed by his two handsome companions, but he could not look more comfortable or at home in his spacious surroundings!

Loyal soap fans have long memories and it’s cute to read throwback comments to the actors’ previous soap characters: “Wow! Cliff Warner from All My Children days! Lol,” “I loved Dr. Cliff Warner on All My Children with Nina Cortland & Brooke English,” “You look fantastic and happy congrats on your baby and miss you as Dr. Drake, can’t lie.”

Y&R fans know that Bergman and Thompson aren’t so chummy on-screen. It’s hard to believe that Billy Boy went after Jack’s vulnerable wife Phyllis (Gina Tognoni); where’s the bro code, dude?  It remains to be seen who Phyllis will choose to spend the rest of her life with.

Will it be straight-postured, good guy Jack, or wild child, Peter Pan-y Billy? Either way, the love triangle has been fun to watch, and it’s great knowing that the antagonists are really besties in real life.
