Jason is the fourth actor to play the role of Billy Abbot on “Y&R” and viewers were skeptical if he would be a successful Billy Abbott recast. Viewers were also concerned if he would have chemistry with his onscreen wife Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). However, viewers were pleasantly surprised, most fans are loving him in the new role, Jason is fitting right in. Billy Abbott is currently trying become a better individual; fixing his marriage and being there for his children, he was beaten and hit by a car earlier this year and was recently released from the hospital. Billy is also working alongside Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden) once and for all. Fans are rooting that things will go well for Billy and Victoria this time round.
Angelica McDaniel who works over ‘The Young and The Restless’ tweeted the news this afternoon of Jason Thompson’s appearance on “The Talk”. Host Sheryl Underwood will be excited for Jason’s appearance she is a huge “Y&R” fan and loves The Mustache. Sheryl is such a huge fan she even appeared on “Y&R” a few times as Clarice Collins, Justice of the Peace. Be sure to catch Thompson’s appearance on ‘The Talk’ when it airs next Monday to hear whatever the actor will discuss.
