‘The Young and The Restless’ News: Jason Thompson To Appear On Hallmark’s Home & Family

Buckle Up fans, the great and phenomenal actor who previously played Patrick Drake for several years on “General Hospital” will be making an appearance on Hallmark’s “Home & Family.” Jason Thompson is currently playing Billy Abbott on ‘The Young and Restless” and he will stop by the popular Hallmark show on March 16th to discuss his role on the CBS serial.

Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare will be the host of this episode as they sit with Thompson to discuss his new job at Y&R. Caryl Dorogi and Sherry French are also scheduled to appear on same episode to present mom inventions. Mike Monzon will also be making an appearance showing how to prepare a recipe.

Thompson may be just a couple months old in the role of Billy Abbott but he is certainly a well received recast. His acquisition of the role of Billy had many speculating he might not be well received by regular Y&R viewers. Some were concerned he may not have chemistry with his on screen lover Victoria (Amelia Heinle). But Thompson was able to prove all the doubters wrong, he has been doing an incredible job as Billy. From being tied in a major plot against Victor (Eric Braeden) to betraying his beloved Victoria, Thompson does an excellent job.

After playing the beloved neurosurgeon Patrick Drake for approximately 11 years, Thompson exited the role with his long time screen partner Kimberly McCullough (Robin) and on screen daughter Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma). Many GH viewers may miss him but you can catch on Y&R weekdays on CBS.
