When ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) star, Michael Graziadei reprised his role of Daniel Romalotti for a few episodes this past summer, fans were ecstatic about his return and thoroughly disappointed that his stay wasn’t longer. As fans recall, he returned for his sister Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) wedding, that never happened, to Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva).

For those Y&R fans who missed him dearly and hoped he would stick around, we are sorry to inform you that it looks like he won’t be back for the foreseeable future. This is disappointing on many levels because his interactions with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), were intriguing and had huge potential; even though she blamed him for the death of her twin sister, Cassie Newman; the sister she never knew.
The Young and the Restless’ Daniel Romalotti could have been intertwined in a lot of stories had he stuck around. His baby sister, Summer needed him after she learned the truth about her love, Luca. When Luca held her hostage. He could have been there for the fall-out, after Travis revealed everything.
His mother, Y&R’s Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) has jammed herself up again by cheating on her husband Jack (Peter Bergman) again; only this time the affair was with his own brother, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). It would have been interesting to see how Daniel would have reacted, seeing his mom back in the hospital, unconscious after another tumble down the stairs. Would Daniel have believed Jack was innocent and hadn’t pushed her?
Although the senior Vice President of CBS Daytime admits that they would love for Graziadei back full-time, it just wasn’t possible. Michael Graziadei fans may not be able to see him on The Young and the Restless any time soon, but you can see him in the new Amazon Original Series called Good Girls Revolt. Good Girls Revolt is an Original Series on Amazon, where Michael Graziadei will portray a character named Gregory. The show will be available to stream on Friday, October, 28, 2016.
