‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Corbin Bernsen Stars In New Movie ‘Love’s Complicated’ With Holly Marie Combs

“The Young and the Restless” alum Corbin Bernsen [Father Todd Williams] stars as Cinco Dublin Sr. a respected journalist in the made-for-television movie “Love’s Complicated.” The Hallmark Channel will premiere the movie on Saturday, January 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT.

Corbin’s co-stars in “Love’s Complicated” include Holly Marie Combs [Ella Montgomery, “Pretty Little Liars,” Piper Halliwell, “Charmed”] as Leah Townsend and Ben Bass [Detective Sam Swarek, “Rookie Blue”] as Cinco Dublin.
The Hallmark made-for-television movie introduces us to Leah, a woman who has found success as an author. However, Leah, the daughter of a senator, grew up trying to make everyone happy. And she’s still doing it as an adult.

Things get interesting when Leah meets a shock-jock radio host named Cinco Dublin at a conflict resolution class. Leah is there by choice, Cinco is there by court order. Come to find out, the Dublins and the Townsends have what some would call a “prickly past.” Cinco Sr., a respected journalist, once went “toe-to-toe” with Leah’s father Senator Townsend when he was in office. That’s just part of the conflict in Leah and Cinco’s lives that needs to be resolved.

Leah finds herself attracted to Cinco but can’t get past their differences. Waiting at home is Leah’s loving, dependable and predictable boyfriend Edward. At some point Leah finds herself conflicted – the very thing she avoids – between the two men. Should she choose Edward, the man who is as reliable as the day is long, or Cinco, who is brash and speaks his mind, but makes Leah feel alive.
