'The Young And The Restless' News: Casting Call Goes Out For A New 'Y&R' Judge It seems as if we will be seeing more of the court room on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ the show has put out a casting call for an African American to play the role of a judge, the request is that the actor be between ages 40 and 50.

Although there are no further details on why this Judge is hired, speculation is that someone in Genoa City is going to be in a great deal of trouble. But who could it be? Spoilers’ indicate that Victor (Eric Braeden) will be sent to prison and finally pay for his crimes. Victor no longer has a hold on his son Adam (Justin Hartley) since he confessed everything to wife Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in the episode aired on Friday. Will Adam and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) turn Victor in for all that he has done? And could this Judge come to town for Victor’s trials if it reaches that far?

Within the last year Victor has went to great lengths to ensure that his family stays in line. Victor has links in high places, recently we saw him blackmail Judge Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) to get the sentence against his son Adam removed. This leads many to believe that Victor will be the one this Judge shows up for since the casting call is saying the judge will be a no-nonsense one. This means if it is indeed Victor, he can’t resort to blackmail or paying off this Judge due to their standards.
