‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Angela Lin Joins ‘Y&R’ Cast As “Roz”

Good news! Y&R spoilers tease that Angela Lin has joined the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’ as a GC Buzz editor named Roz. The casting news was reported by Soaps.com, who informs readers that she will make her screen debut on October 10. Apparently she will be around for a while but it is currently unknown for how long as the show runners have not spoken out yet.

Will Lin cause trouble as Roz? We will have to stay tuned and check out her appearance when she debuts next month. Currently not much is known about her casting, it is not clear whether she’s just on for a brief stint or if she was taken on as a recurring actress. As soon as more information becomes available about the details of her casting Soap Opera Spy will let you know.

So who is Angela Lin? Well, she is a known actress and director. She was born in Singapore. She is well known for her many appearances in American Primetime series and a couple of daytime soap operas. Long time daytime soap opera viewers may remember her face in ‘One Life to Live’ as she played the role of Nurse in one episode in 2011. She may also be recognizable to ‘As the World Turns’ where she made an appearance as Wendy in one episode in February, 2004.

Aside from her brief appearances on daytime soap operas she is popular for her roles on primetime serials such as; ‘Murder in the First’ where she plays Marissa Lee, ‘I Didn’t do it’ as Dr. Doolittle, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ as Chen Han, ‘Two and a Half Men’ as Laura, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as Barbara Yu, ‘Wallflowers’ as Victoria Pond, ‘Person of Interest’ and much more.
