‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Alum Ray Wise Stars In Big Screen Movie – “God’s Not Dead 2”

“The Young and the Restless” alum Ray Wise [Ian Ward] new movie “God’s Not Dead 2” is set to hit theaters on Friday, April 1. Ray portrays the character Peter Kane.

The description of the drama reveals, “When a high school teacher is asked a question in class about Jesus, her reasoned response lands her in deep trouble and could expel God from the public square once and for all.” “God’s Not Dead 2” was directed by Harold Cronk and written by Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon.

The film has quite an all-star cast. Some of Ray’s co-stars include Jesse Metcalfe [Christopher Ewing, “Dallas”], Robin Givens [Cheryl Harwood, “90210”], Ernie Hudson Dr. Ken Fields, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”], Melissa Joan Hart [Melissa Burke, “Melissa and Joey”], iconic singer/songwriter Pat Boone and “General Hospital” alum Jon Lindstrom [Dr. Kevin Collins].

While “Y&R” fans wait for Ray Wise’s new movie to hit theaters you can watch him as Marvin on the ABC comedy “Fresh Off the Boat” and also on the ABC drama “Agent Carter” as Hugh Jones.

Ray Wise is currently filming “Star Trek: Captain Pike” – he portrays Admiral Joshua Pike. Get ready to see Ray in another television series, too. “Relationship Status” is currently in post-production but there is no further information regarding the series at this time.

“The Young and the Restless” viewers may have seen the last of Ian Ward – or maybe not – but they haven’t see the last of Ray Wise. He is one very busy actor!
