‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Season 7 Sanctuary First Look and Negan Rampage Survivors Revealed

‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers from season 7 are rolling out of Atlanta thanks to set shots from ‘Spoil the Dead’ that has a legion of TWD fans sneaking pics from shooting locations. Thanks to them, we’ve got a first look at the Savior Sanctuary and some survivors of the Season 6 finale.

Many ‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers teased that Daryl Dixon [Norman Reedus] may have fallen prey to Lucille, the barbed-wire bat wielded by Negan [Jeffrey Dean Morgan]. However, it looks like Reedus is on set shooting, albeit without his iconic winged leather vest.

Spoilers leaked from TWD Season 7 hint that Daryl will not die at Negan’s hand but is taken captive by the Saviors, taken to The Sanctuary stronghold, and tormented because he won’t join Negan’s group of post-apocalyptic terrorists.

‘Spoiling Dead’ shared on its Facebook feed two pics shot from on high of the façade of the Savior base, The Sanctuary, and it looks similar to the comics. In the books, the Saviors have a factory-style HQ that they run with an iron grip.

It looks like TWD set craftsman have constructed a front attached to a large warehouse to resemble the factory rather than shooting at an actual factory. In Season 6, you’ll recall that Rick Grimes’ [Andre Lincoln] group invaded and destroyed an outpost.

Rick was under the false impression that they had taken out the Saviors, but that smaller place was a franchise facility of sorts. The Savior base is much larger and housed behind a tall chain link fence to keep walkers away.

This first look is very exciting since much of the Season 7 action will take place at The Sanctuary, the Alexandria Safe Zone (ASZ), The Kingdom, and Hilltop. The Sanctuary and The Kingdom are the new sets that will debut in Season 7.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 spoiler pics show a band of Saviors outside Alexandria, which aligns to the book storyline. Plus, pics show Daryl hanging with Rick wearing what looks like prison duds – which may have been forced on him by his Savior captors.

TWD spoilers lean to Glenn Rhee [Steven Yeun] as the presumptive LV (Lucille Victim) since he was in Atlanta for a few days of early Season 7 shoots. Yeun has posted Instagram pics from Asia where he’s shooting Okja, a film funded by Netflix and produced by Plan B.

Other possible Negan victims have been on set shooting continually including Michonne [Danai Gurira], Abraham Ford [Michael Cudlitz], Rick, Aaron [Ross Marquand], Eugene [Josh McDermitt] and others. Pretty much everyone but Steven Yeun seems to be in Atlanta shooting TWD.
