‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers Season 7: Daryl’s Dark Side Emerges Following Negan Kidnapping – Held Hostage By Survivors

‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers for season reveal that Daryl Dixon [Norman Reedus] deep dark side will emerge after Negan [Jeffrey Dean Morgan] kidnapped him. Daryl will be held hostage by the Survivors.

After brutally murdering Glenn Rhee [Steven Yeun] and Abraham Ford [Michael Cudlitz] and nearly forcing Rick Grimes [Andrew Lincoln] to cut off son Carl Grimes’ hand [Chandler Riggs], Negan dragged Daryl off, determined to break his spirit.

Daryl Dixon isn’t a guy who forms emotional attachment easily as ‘The Walking Dead’ fans well know. Having been ripped away from the family will push Daryl into downward spiral.

In an interview with Cinema Blend Norman Reedus revealed, “[Daryl] will go to a very, very dark, dark place. It’s a combination of hatred. It’s a combination of self-loathing.” TWD spoilers for season 7 reveal that Daryl won’t give up completely; he’ll still fight just as he always has, but Daryl will no longer see any of the good in the world.

Obviously Daryl has some serious guilt over the deaths of Glenn and Abraham. If only Daryl had stayed quiet and remained kneeling and not tried to punch Negan the two may still be alive today. Negan is a sadistic lunatic and there’s no telling what would have happened even if Daryl had submitted to his will.

Unlike Glenn and Abraham, the character of Daryl Dixon isn’t explored in the graphic novel’s history. That means the writers have a free hand at deciding what Daryl’s fate will be during season 7 of ‘The Walking Dead.’

Fans are still reeling from the bloody beating Glenn and Abraham received from Negan with his beloved barbed wire wrapped bat Lucille, One thing diehard TWD fans know, or at least they think they know, is that Daryl is much too popular to kill off.

Daryl may be a hostage in the hands of Negan and the Survivors now, but can he break free and return to the family? With ‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers for season 7 indicating Daryl will be mired in a deep dark pit of self-loathing he won’t be the same man when, or if, he returns to the family.
