After the season six finale of The Walking Dead, everyone knows a main character of Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) group, also now referred to as the Alexandria Safe Zone crew, is going to be on the receiving end of the Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bat, Lucille. There has been much speculation in regards to which of the main characters will be the victim to Lucille, with her entwined tangles of barbed wire at the head.

Norman Reedus has promised to light the match to a riot if they kill off his character in the premiere of season seven of The Walking Dead, according to an interview with Variety, about his new series, “Ride With Norman Reedus,” which revolves around Norman Reedus traveling the open road, understanding the ingrained rules of bikers and their machines.

During a recent interview with Variety, Norman Reedus was asked a question concerning Daryl Dixon’s fate, on “The Walking Dead.” His fan group has a slogan, “If Daryl dies, we riot”, Norman Reedus was quoted saying, “I will be passing out matches if that happens – I will be starting the riot.” So, either Daryl Dixon will be an ongoing character in Season Seven, or AMC may have a riot on their hands.

Ongoing in the interview regarding “The Walking Dead,” Norman Reedus was quoted saying, “Everyone is excited for 7 to reveal the answers to 6. So I will say it’s well worth the wait. You know what I mean? I know what happens , and we shot it, and it’s well worth the wait. Trust me.”

How can anyone not trust the word of Norman Reedus? However, that does bring us to the speculation of which primary character is on the receiving end of Negan’s bat, Lucille? Who will be returning in the Season Seven Premiere?

Would Norman Reedus really light the match and start a riot to protect his character? Daryl Dixon would probably hand out grenades at that rally. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

My name is Destiny Dukes, and I first got into soaps in 2013. I started watching General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful. I felt a connection with the characters and loved the stories as well. I even became interested in older storylines from before I started watching. I eventually picked up The Young and the Restless in 2016. I love writing as well and have been writing since I was in elementary school.
