‘The Walking Dead’ News: Two New Characters Join The Cast In Season 7

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 spoilers reveal two new characters have joined the cast of AMC series. It has to be expected that as characters die off in the zombie apocalypse, new characters need to be brought into the cast for two obvious reasons. One, if the cast is not replenished, eventually there would be no cast left, the other reason, is that if there were no extra characters, the main characters would be the ones dying every season. We have seen on more than one occasion, how skilled the characters are at surviving. Look at how many times Glenn Rhee (Steven Yuen) has escaped the clutches of the walkers to fight another day, that is what surviving the apocalypse has become, not living, surviving.

There actually will be several new characters introduced in Season 7, some will be in conjunction with the comic book series, and others will be added to the television version of ‘The Walking Dead’. Per TV Line’s Michael Ausiello, two of the new characters will be Jennie and Naomi. Ausiello was quoted commenting, “Episode 6 will introduce two new characters who don’t sound to me like anyone in particular from the comic-book series.” Ausiello continues with, “Naomi is a grandmotherly type who, having lost so many loved ones, is now willing to do whatever it takes not to have to bury anymore. (Maybe she’s being introduced to counsel Carol about the awful necessities of the post-apocalyptic world… ) On the flip side is Jennie, a sunny-side-up kinda teenager — oh, Caaarl! — who sounds a lot like Beth 2.0, ‘kind, with a world-weary toughness.'”

It is too early to tell what group these two characters have hailed from. They could be from The Hilltop community, The Kingdom, or possibly a Negan follower that has defected from his cruel ways. Are these characters replacements for existing cast, such as Carol (Melissa McBride), or possibly even a love interest for Carl (Chandler Riggs)?

I felt a connection with the characters and loved the stories as well. I even became interested in older storylines from before I started watching. I eventually picked up The Young and the Restless in 2016. I love writing as well and have been writing since I was in elementary school.
