‘The Walking Dead’ star Norman Reedus and TWD producer/director Greg Nicotero are the co-owners of a brand new restaurant, “Nic & Norman’s”. The restaurant was set to open later in the year, however, was able to open their doors to the public on Tuesday, June 22, 2016. Nic & Norman’s is a family based restaurant located in Senoia, Georgia. The location of the eatery was chosen specifically, per Greg Nicotero, “We were very excited about the idea of opening something in Senoia,” Nicotero says. “It’s something to pay tribute to the area where we shoot the show and have the cast and the crew have a place to call their own.”
Per an interview with PEOPLE, Nicotero commented, “Norman and I were texting each other back and forth on Tuesday. It’s weird to walk into a place that you didn’t even know was going to exist six months ago.”
The restaurant is open to the public, who will be looking for possible sightings of the cast and/or crew from ‘The Walking Dead’. “Our fans are so loyal and so devoted that I think they’ll get a kick out of seeing the make-up effects people and meeting the production people, and having a drink with one of the assistant directors,” commented Nicotero.

The opening of the new eatery, Nic & Norman’s was well executed, since although Reedus and Nicotero had discussed opening a restaurant in previous years, the actual plan making only started in January of this year.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and family oriented, “We really wanted the place to have a little more of an upscale feel,” Nicotero says. There are curtains surrounding the booths and original artwork by Reedus and Nicotero hanging on the walls.
Included on the menu are Norman’s Pick and Greg’s Pick on the burger list. Greg’s Pick consist of a burger made with the combination of ground chuck, short rib and brisket patty topped with blue cheese, baby blend lettuce and tomato. The patty also comes with N&N sauce: an orange condiment made with secret ingredients. Norman’s Pick consists of a bison patty with a slice of beetroot, spinach, mustard, and a fried egg. “We didn’t want the food to be too unhealthy,” commented Nicotero. “People have the opportunity with all the burgers to do a lettuce wrap as opposed to a bun.”
