‘The Walking Dead’ News: Negan’s Heartbreaking History Revealed – Details HERE!

Without the advantage of a prequel to Negan’s character on ‘The Walking Dead,’ the fans are left to believe that Negan has always been a bully, bad guy, viscous character without any remorse for his actions. After all, why would anyone think anything different? The apocalypse has turned great people, into evil, ruthless individuals. It has also allowed violent, selfish social rejects to run amuck and be considered leaders. Which extreme was Negan, or is he just floating through the apocalypse just as frightened as everyone else, with his defense mechanism being kill before being killed?

Well, all of our speculation is about to be satisfied. Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com has revealed that “Over the course of the year and early into the next, Image Comics is releasing a 48-page story telling the rise (or fall) of The Walking Dead’s biggest villain: Negan.” ‘Heres Negan’ is the title of this prequel into Negan’s life.

Each issue is a 4-page insight to the life of Negan prior to the apocalypse. The first three issues have been released through Image+ Preview magazine, with a new one to be released every month.

The story as told in ‘Here’s Negan’, shows us that he was a high school physical education teacher. Already macho in his life, very demanding and strict with his students, even bullying them in front of others. So far sounds like the pre-apocalyptic Negan is no different than the current one.

As the storyline progresses in the second issue, Negan learns that the reason his wife had fainted in the previous issue is because she has cancer and that it will be a long battle from here. The third final issue that has been released goes into the details of Negan coping with his wife’s illness. He confesses to his girlfriend that he is struggling with the recent information about his wife, thus this relationship ends. Negan struggles with the humanity of taking care of his wife. It is at this time the apocalypse first starts, and Negan refuses to leave his wife, what a heroic act of love and kindness.
