‘The Walking Dead’ News: AMC Kicks Off 88 Hour ‘TWD’ Marathon, Plus All New Season 7 Preview

‘The Walking Dead’ season 7 spoilers include news that AMC will air an 88-hour marathon of TWD season 1 through season 6. AMC will include a 2-hour retrospective before the season 7 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ on Sunday, October 23.

If you’ve never watched TWD and for whatever reason, haven’t been able to see the critically-acclaimed zombie drama from the very beginning, here’s your chance. Set your DVR because the horror-filled fun begins on Sunday, October 16 at 6:50 a.m. ET. Find out how it all began with episode 1 – ‘Days Gone Bye.’

All six episodes of ‘The Walking Dead’ season one will air on Sunday, October 16 with episode 6 ‘TS-19’ beginning at 12:25 p.m. ET. Following the season one TWD marathon you’ll get a one-hour preview of season 7.

The TWD marathon begins again at 1:31 p.m. ET, airing 7 episodes of season 2 straight through until 8:00 p.m. ET. Don’t go away just yet, because next up at 9:00 p.m. ET is ‘The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far.’ Then at 11 p.m. get a look at more ‘The Walking Dead’ season 7 spoilers.

The 88-hour marathon will pick up again on Monday, October 17 at 6:00 p.m. ET with the second half of season 2, episodes 8 through 13. Monday’s marathon will wrap up with episode 13, ‘Beside the Dying Fire’ at 11:00 p.m.

The fun isn’t over yet – at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18 AMC will air ‘The Walking Dead’ episodes 1 through 6. But don’t go to bed yet – TWD season 3 episodes 7 through 14 begin showing at midnight pm Wednesday, October 19.

TWD season 7 spoiler alert – you will find out in the premiere episode who Negan [Jeffrey Dean Morgan] and his beloved barbed wire bat Lucille killed. Not just one, but two major characters will reportedly be killed off.
