‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ivy Forrester’s Now A Power Player On ‘B&B’ Thanks To Quinn Fuller, Will She Use Her Authority For Good Or Evil?

On The Bold and the Beautiful Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) has suddenly become a Forrester power player. Now that the perky kiwi has a place at the adult’s table, thanks to Quinn (Rena Sofer), she can choose to use her power for peacemaking or empire building.

Ivy, the cousin from down under, was the only Forrester to remain at her Uncle Eric (John McCook) and Quinn’s wedding. The rest of the family boycotted due to their animosity toward Quinn. As a result, the family is split in two.  Quinn wields Eric’s power of attorney, pitting her against the relatives.

This week Quinn left Ivy in charge of the mansion and bedridden Eric when she attended a board meeting. Her orders were clear: no one is to disturb Eric.

So, when family members showed up to visit, Ivy stood her ground and refused access. Does her obedience to Quinn foreshadow a desire for more authority and influence?

Ivy already lives in the Forrester guesthouse, and works in the family business. What more could she want? Power is addictive and Ivy is young and climbing the ladder. She didn’t grow up in the business, so having more clout could be too tempting for the “outsider” to refuse.

But Ivy would be better off using her powers of persuasion to try and heal the fractured family. Playing peacemaker is a win-win situation. Quinn herself wants the family to come together (or so she says) so she wouldn’t be alienating her by mending fences.

If Quinn loses power, Ivy is odd man out. She’ll have to work doubly hard to get back into everyone’s good graces since her relatives are also her co-workers.

And these days there are better things for Ivy to spend her time on, like finally snagging Liam (Scott Clifton) away from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)!
