‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Brooke Chooses Ridge – Made A huge Mistake?

On, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) just proved that wisdom does not always come with age.  Poor Brooke just doesn’t seem able to break out of her emotional infancy, and this time around it may have cost her a shot at real happiness.

Months back Brooke was all set to marry Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in Dubai, when her ex-husband Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) showed up out of nowhere and tried to negate the nuptials.

Dollar Bill was enraged and, long story short, he ended up having Ridge thrown from a helicopter into the ocean.

Flash forward to the present day, and these three are at it again! Both Ridge and Bill have been courting Brooke heavily, and the blonde heroine has been unable to make up her mind.

Maybe that isn’t such a bad problem to have, two rich and handsome men vying for your hand in marriage!

But if Brooke would only take the time to think about these two sets of romantic circumstances, she would realize that Ridge only came back into her world when he thought she was about to marry Bill.

Shouldn’t this be a red flag? Sure, Bridge have a long and storied history together, which includes their son R.J. (Anthony Turpell), but there’s a reason they never work out. Maybe Brooke believes that the 153^rd time will be the charm?

When Brooke finally decided to choose Ridge, she really did it for R.J. “I’m doing it for the children,” she kept repeating. In part, Brooke choose Ridge so that R.J. the teenager will have an intact nuclear family.

Mixed up Brooke actually told Bill, “I don’t love Ridge more than I love you.” Huh? Brooke is being a martyr, and she may soon regret trying to make R.J. happy at her own expense.
