‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Bill Copes with Brooke’s Engagement, Thinks She Should Follow Her Heart – Quinn Lifts Eric’s Spirits

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Thursday, December 22, tease that RJ (Anthony Turpel) will be overjoyed by his parents’ engagement. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) just proposed to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and she happily accepted. RJ will be excited about spending a quiet Christmas as a family. He’ll exclaim that he’s wanted this since he was old enough to talk.

Ridge and RJ are certainly thrilled with Brooke’s decision, but Bill (Don Diamont) is still in a lot of pain. When Bill sees how fast Ridge slapped a ring on Brooke’s finger, it will only twist the knife. Brooke will hate that she let Bill down, but she’ll feel she made the right call.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Bill will completely disagree. He’ll contend that Brooke allowed Ridge and RJ to pressure her into it. Brooke will argue that the choice was hers and hers alone. She’ll hope that Bill can accept it one day.

However, Bill will believe Brooke wants him deep down. Thursday’s B&B preview video shows Bill asking, “If you’re not following your heart, what else is there, Brooke?” He’ll urge Brooke reconsider her marriage plans, but her mind will be made up.

Elsewhere, Liam (Scott Clifton) will convince Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that spending time around Quinn (Rena Sofer) will ruin their holiday. They’ll decide to decline Eric’s (John McCook) invitation and do their own thing. Naturally, Eric will be disappointed when he realizes everybody is opting out of his party.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Quinn will encourage Eric to stay upbeat. She’ll suggest that they’re going to have a wonderful Christmas no matter what. It’s been Quinn and Eric against the world for quite a while now. She’ll think they can make the best of a less than ideal situation like they always do.

Eric will still have trouble letting go of his holiday dreams. In fact, Eric will find a way to fulfill his Christmas wish after all. He’ll come up with a fun solution pretty soon. B&B rumors hint that some major drama is coming over the next few months, but we’ll see a brief moment of peace this Friday.
