‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ POLL: Is Katie Overreacting or Did Bill Really Go Too Far? VOTE!

“The Bold and the Beautiful” viewers know that there’s been some tension between Katie (Heather Tom) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) lately. Every time these sisters settle the conflict, something manages to stir it up again. Of course, the real source of contention is their love for the same man.

Ever since Katie found out Brooke still had feelings for Bill (Don Diamont), she’s been on edge. Whether we’re talking about a major incident or a minor one, it’s easy to set Katie off right now. Brooke often brings it on herself, but occasionally it’s a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Regardless, Brooke usually gives Katie a good reason to be suspicious.

It’s doubtful that Katie could ever fully trust her sister after everything that’s happened between them. As for Bill, he’s guilty of causing his fair share of trouble as well. Katie asked Bill to do one thing for her. He just needed to keep his mouth shut about Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) secret. It was as simple as that.

Instead, Bill blabbed to Brooke almost immediately. Katie believes Bill put Brooke above his own wife. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers indicate that Katie will be tempted to drink as she copes with Bill’s actions. She’ll feel like Bill refuses to put her first.

Bill obviously thinks he made the only decision he could make. Rick (Jacob Young) was determined to leave town and Bill wanted to help Brooke keep her family in Los Angeles. Plus, Bill believes Ridge should be forced to face the truth. Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Thomas (Pierson Fode) have suffered in the midst of all this.

However, Bill promised Katie that he wouldn’t say anything. He made that vow to her and she trusted him. Caroline, Ridge and Thomas all agreed to keep Douglas’ paternity a secret. Thomas isn’t too happy about it, but he wants to protect Douglas just as much as Ridge and Caroline. Perhaps it wasn’t Bill’s place to get involved.

Katie poked her nose where it didn’t belong, but her heart was in the right place. She felt like Thomas deserved to know the truth and now he does. You could argue that Bill is just causing unnecessary drama. He’s always shaking things up on B&B. That’s what we’ve come to expect from “Dollar Bill” Spencer.
