‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: Linsey Godfrey Bumped To Recurring Status At B&B, Will Caroline Spencer Ever Return Or Gone For Good?

There’s a mystery afoot at, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and it has to do with the character of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey). I’m not necessarily saying that it’s time for an APB to be put out for the perky blond designer, but really, where has she been?

B&B fans last saw Caroline when she and her baby daddy Thomas (Pierson Fode) partied the night away at a ghouly Halloween party. Their employer Forrester Creations hosted the monster mash, and the two seemed to be having a good time together.

So now two months have gone by, and nary a mention has been made about Caroline. Is she tending to baby Thomas? Whipping up dress designs in a back room at Forrester? Helping Pam make oodles of lemon bars for the office party?

Well, the answer may lay in a recent B&B credits listing. Godfrey’s name was not on a December list of contract cast members which means that she may no longer be on contract to the CBS sudser.

If that’s the case, fans can expect to see Caroline on a recurring basis.

Caroline Spencer first popped up in Los Angeles in early 2012, paying a visit to her uncle, Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Things got a little rocky between them for a while; remember when he was involved in her scary fall?

But all was forgiven and Caroline went on to romance Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) when he lost his ability to draw. Hmm, that was due to Bill having him thrown from a helicopter; I’m sensing a theme here!

Anyway, erstwhile Caroline was happy to help Ridge regain his artistic impulses and he gave her a red string engagement ring in return. Oops, sorry that was another Ridge fling!
