‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: Heather Tom’s Son Zane Achor Marks ‘B&B’ Episode Milestone

‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ has one of the best “bring your kid to work day” programs when it comes to Heather Tom’s son Zane Achor. The adorable toddler has been playing Tom’s on-screen son William “Will” Spencer since he was just four months old.

With his appearance in January, the tot is nearing his 60^th episode. When little Zane first started on the show as Will, Tom said she was worried he would have on-camera melt-down but then tweeted afterward that it went well writing, “My son smiled on cue.”

Tom has credited on-screen hubby Don Diamont – Bill Spencer – for being great with Zane since Don has six boys of his own. His first appearance was April 2013 and he’s been seen every so often – roughly every month or two – since then. Zane is even a regular at the annual B&B holiday parties.

One thing is for sure though, the drama surrounding Will Spencer’s early years is nothing like Zane Achor’s happy family existence. Tom’s on-screen alter-ego Katie was dealing with baby daddy drama after she gave birth thanks to her scheming sister Brooke Logan [Katherine Kelly Lang].

Although Zane’s birth did come with some drama – Tom reported that her son had to spend five days in an incubator after his birth. Katie also suffered post-partum depression while Tom came out of her labor and delivery with flying colors.

For now, it looks like Zane’s alter-ego Will has a happy family since Bill and Katie are happily married and co-parenting. But with Brooke and Bill now rethinking their passionate past, little Will may not have a happy family for too much longer.

We have to wonder how long Tom will allow son Zane to continue on in the role of Will. In a couple of years, he’ll need to start school, but with few appearances, they could see it work. And with Tom phasing into directing, she might be able to keep Zane working with her on set.
