‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ News: Casting Call Issued For Woman Named Kat – New Love Interest For Thomas?

“The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)” spoilers tease that the CBS daytime drama may be looking to expand the cast once again. Soap Opera Digest reports the show issued a casting call for a woman named Kat.  Kat was described as creative, resilient, and stylish, and should be a “model type.”  They explicitly stated she should be 5’5 or taller, so it’s possible that they are looking to cast a Forrester model.

Immediately following the announcement of the casting call, speculation took over that she could be a great pairing for Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode). Thomas desperately needs a leading lady on the show, and would create some tension between Caroline Forrester (Linsey Godfrey).

A few weeks ago, Soap Opera Digest speculated that they’d bring someone new on the show for Thomas to give a new love triangle with Caroline. It’s possible that Caroline will feel anxious about her son’s father (Thomas) spending time with another woman, even though she’s married to his father.

Every time they mention that Thomas has a new love interest, or he’s paying extra attention to one of the models, Caroline gets a twinge of jealousy. Is it possible that deep down, Caroline may have feelings for the lad?

Of course, anything is possible in the land of the “Bold and the Beautiful,” but Caroline seems pretty happy with her current husband, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). In the land of soap operas, nothing spells drama more than bringing a new hot young woman to stir up the jealousy feelings, and before long, watch the cat claws come out.
