‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: Ashlyn Pearce Picks Out 2016 Emmy Dress – Shares Excitement In Funny Video

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Ashlyn Pearce [Aly Forrester] shared her excitement about her Emmy dress with fans. The actress and her mom went to pick it up on Friday, April 22.

Ashlyn teased fans via social media, but didn’t give them a peek at the dress. What she did post was a funny video to express her enthusiasm for the gown she’s chosen. In the short video clip Ashlyn is driving and her mom is in the passenger seat.

“Hey, Mom, guess what?” Ashlyn says. Mom’s not so enthusiastic response, “What?” Squealing with delight Ashlyn says, “I got my Emmy dress! AHHHHHHH!!! I’m so excited! Are you excited?” Mom replies, “Yes!!”

“I’m so excited! I just picked up my Emmy dress and it looks amazing. I can’t wait for you guys to see it!” Earlier in the day Ashlyn had posted a photo of a lit candle and a half cup of tea. She wrote, “Having some lovely English Breakfast tea while at my fitting for my Emmy dress! Can’t wait for you all to see it!”

Do you think that the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series is excited about her dress?! It could be a big night for Ashlyn as she could take home the golden statuette. The reel submitted for consideration was a mad-as-hell Aly on a mission to kill Steffy Forrester [Jacqueline MacInnes Wood].

Picking up her Emmy dress was a bright spot in what was a bit of a sad week for Ashlyn Pearce. On Thursday, April 21 Ashlyn shared several photos of her dad and wrote,

“Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of my dad’s passing… This year it’s hitting me really hard for some reason. I guess maybe because so far this year I have accomplished so much and it would have been really nice for him to have been a part of it. I wish he could see just how much I’ve grown and changed these past 3 years. I like to think he would be really proud of me. I miss you daddy. Love you lots.”

Good luck to Ashlyn Pearce at the Daytime Emmys on Sunday, May 1. We can’t wait to see your dress!
