‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ Jennifer Gareis Talks Her Status With “B&B,” Her Comedy Bang Bang & More

Many viewers have been wondering what happened to the third Logan sister on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. For months we have not been seeing Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) on our screens. The last time we saw her was back in late February of 2015, more than a year ago. There has been no news of the actress’ status with the show, but now we can officially confirm that she has been dropped to recurring.

Over the past weekend, Soap Opera Spy spoke directly with the actress who confirmed her current status with the show.  Since Gareis’ last appearance she has been travelling and having a fun time with her family and daytime co-stars. This seems to make the actress quite happy, as she always appears elated in images she post on Twitter and Instagram.

In our conversation, Gareis said she was excited about her upcoming project. She shared that she has a role on ‘Comedy Bang Bang’. The episode which was a spoof on soap operas and telenovas was shot with weird Al Yankovic and will be on IFCtv. Gareis emphasize that this is a whole lot of “funny stuff”. She also spoke about a movie called ‘The Harvesting’. In this movie she plays the role of Sara, an Amish Woman.

Gareis is not only popular for playing the role of Donna Logan on B&B. She also played the role of Grace Turner on B&B’s sister soap, ‘The Young and the Restless’. This role made her widely popular across the range of daytime fans. Her most recent appearance in the role of Grace, had many fans begging for a full time return.

She is certainly missed on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Since she is recurring on B&B, we have no idea when we will see her again but we hope it will be soon. So B&B and Y&R fans are you missing her? Which role would you like to see her return full time to?
