‘The Bay’ Spoilers: James DePaiva, Christopher Sean And Brandon Beemer Join Cast As Series Moves To Amazon Prime

‘The Bay’ spoilers include news that ‘One Live to Live’ alums James DePaiva [Max Holden] and Jessica Morris [Jennifer Rappaport] have joined the cast. ‘The Bay’ has been picked up by Amazon Prime.

Also joining the cast of ‘The Bay’ are ‘Days of Our Lives’ Brandon Beemer [Shawn Brady] and former co-stars Christopher Sean [Paul Narita] and Kevin Spirtas [Dr. Craig Wesley]. James DePavia spoke with Soap Opera Digest about his new role and also about Brandon and Christopher’s casting.

Gregori J. Martin, creator of the award-winning series sent a text to James following the 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards asking if he would be interested in joining the cast. James will portray a younger version of Nicolas Costas’s [‘Santa Barbara,’ Lionel Lockridge] Jack Madison.

Brandon Beemer has been cast to play a younger version of Ronn Moss’s [‘B&B,’ Ridge Forrester] character John Blackwell and Jennifer Morris will step in as a young Kate Blackwell who is portrayed by Judi Evans [‘DOOL,’ Adrienne Kiriakis].Kevin Spirtas has been cast as Pastor Nolan, described as flamboyant and unforgettable.

The role of a younger Jack Madison will allow James to portray the darker side of the character and that means he gets to play all the bad stuff.

James is excited about the move from the web to Amazon Prime and the prospect of the sudser reaching a much larger audience. The actor’s wife Kassie DePaiva[‘DOOL,’ Eve Donovan] has been very supportive of James’ decision to join the cast.

The opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time. The DePavia’s son JQ is in college and James told Kassie, “It’s time for me to go back to acting, instead of being Mr. Mom” Soap Opera Digest reports in its latest edition.
