‘The Bay’ News: ‘General Hospital’ Star Carolyn Hennesy And ‘Days’ Brandon Beemer Join Cast

‘The Bay’ has been acquiring quite a number of daytime stars. The latest additions include Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady, DAYS) and Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, GH). Hot on the heels of the announcement, that the show is moving to Amazon Prime, the show’s cast just got bigger.

Not only are these two super talented stars joining the show, but Jensen Buchanan (Judge Elise Moxley, Y&R and Vicky, Another World) and Marissa Tait (Becky, B&B) are appearing on the newest season of the internet soap as well.

When the show moves to Amazon Prime this summer, there will be two seasons consisting of 14 episodes. The creator of the show, Gregori J. Martin, who is ardent at what he does, highlights that “the show will have a new starting point”. He hopes all the viewers will tune in to each episode when the new season premiers to learn the whole story.

The Bay and its cast will begin to film the second half of its current season in May, 2016. This is when long time fan favorites will film their scenes. Hennesy will take on the role of the mayor’s ex. Look for Hennesy to be in scenes with former ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ star Ronn Moss (Ex-Ridge). Beemer who currently appears as Shawn Douglas Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives’ will fit in to the role of a younger John Blackwell, the role currently played by Ronn Moss.

Buchanan will play Melody Garett and Tait plays a young version of Katherine Blackwell. Several stars from the previous season will return and this includes Mary Beth Evans as Sara, Eric Martsolf as Young Lee and Abby Wathen as Young Sara.
