Stars Of Daytime Television Celebrate The 68th Emmy Award Season (PHOTOS)
Daytime soap operas meet primetime dramas when stars of ‘The Young and the Restless,’ ‘General Hospital,’ ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ ‘Days of Our Lives,’ and ‘The Bay’ celebrate the 68th Annual Emmy Awards. The soap stars will enjoy a pre-show red carpet event is sponsored by Sterling Vineyards and Ferrari Trento.
The Wolf Theatre is the location where the Television Academy will host this exclusive pre-Emmy reception. Sterling Vineyards is the Official Wine Partner for the 68th Annual Emmy Awards. Ferrari Trento is the Official Sparkling Wine partner of the 68th Emmy Awards.
Some of the soap opera stars who will be in attendance from ‘The Young and the Restless’ include Melody Thomas Scott [Nikki Newman], Melissa Claire Egan [Chelsea Newman], Gina Tognoni [Phyllis Abbott], Melissa Ordway [Abby Newman], and Christian LeBlanc [Michael Baldwin.
John McCook [Eric Forrester], Katherine Kelly Lang [Brooke Logan Forrester], Jacqueline MacInness Wood [Steffy Forrester], and Don Diamont [Bill Spencer] will represent ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ at the reception.
‘General Hospital’ stars in attendance will include William deVry [Julian Jerome], Lexi Ainsworth [Christina Corinthos], Chad Duell [Michael Quartermaine] and Brytni Sarpy [Valerie Spencer].
Camilla Banus [Gabi Hernandez], Marci Miller [Abigail DiMera], and Stephen Nichols [Steve Johnson] will represent ‘Days of Our Lives.’ Actors from ‘The Bay,’ which will be available on Netflix September 6, were also on hand for the exciting celebration.
The 68th Annual Emmy Awards, including the daytime soap opera star-studded red carpet preshow, will be telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 18 at 7 p.m. ET. The ceremony will be hosted by comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
