Soap Opera Weekly Ratings September 26-30: Great Week For B&B, DOOL & Y&R Down, GH Ratings Up With Women 18-49

The soap opera ratings for the week of September 26 through September 30 have been reported by Soap Opera Network. After a drop in ratings the previous week, ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ ratings were up by nearly 250,000 total viewers and the soap opera won back women 18-49 also. ‘General Hospital’ lost total viewers but ratings were up in the women 18-49 demographic. ‘Days of Our Lives’ had a similar week, winning back total viewers, but losing women viewers age 18-49. ‘The Young and the Restless’ lost viewers in both demographics.

Days of Our Lives

‘DOOL’ ratings for the week of September 26-30 increased in total viewership. The daytime drama had 2,213,000 watching – a gain of 17,000 total viewers over the previous week. ‘Days of Our Lives’ saw a dip in the ratings with women 18-49. A total of 386,000 viewers came from this demographic. This represents a loss of 6,000 in this category.

General Hospital

‘GH’ ratings were down the week of September 26 through September 30 with 2,703,000 turned in. After a huge ratings increase the previous week, ‘General Hospital’ lost 8,000 total viewers. The daytime drama did see another increase in the ratings with women 18-49 – 452,000 tuned in, that’s a gain of 7,000 viewers in this demographic from the previous week.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Soap Opera Network reports a huge ratings increase for ‘B&B’ for the week of September 26-30. With 3,913,000 total viewers tuned in that represents a gain of 230,000 in that category. Women 18-49 returned to watch ‘B&B’ – 551,000 which is an increase of 56,000 viewers in this demographic.

The Young and the Restless

‘Y&R’ ratings for September 26 through September 30 were down across the board with 4,691,000 total viewers. That represents an enormous loss of 98,000 viewers in this category. ‘The Young and the Restless’ lost 11,000 viewers in the women 18-49 – 609,000 were tuned in.
