Soap Opera Weekly Ratings October 24-28: GH and B&B Ratings Up – Y&R and DOOL Ratings Down

The soap opera ratings for the week of October 24-28 have been reported by Soap Opera Network. ‘The Bold and The Beautiful,’ ‘General Hospital’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ all gained total viewers. ‘Y&R’ ratings dipped in the women 18-49 demographic. After a nice increase in ratings for both total viewers and women 18-49, ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings dropped in both categories.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES

‘DOOL’ ratings for the week of October 24-28 total viewer ratings were down by 27,000. The daytime drama had 2,182,000 watching. ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings with women 18-49 were also down. A total of 371,000 viewers from this demographic tuned in. This represents a loss of 19,000 in this category.

GENERAL HOSPITAL

‘GH’ ratings were up after three straight weeks of lower ratings. Total viewers the week of October 24 through October 28 equaled 2,641,000 which represents a gain of 34,000 viewers in this category. After two straight weeks of losses in the women 18-49 demographic ‘General Hospital‘ welcomed back 19,000 women 18-49 which means a total of 452,00 were watching,

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Soap Opera Network reports increase in ratings for ‘B&B’ across the board for the week of October 24-28. With 3,717,000 total viewers tuned in, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ gained 10,000 total viewers. 488,000 women 18-49 were watching ‘B&B’ with which represents an increase of 13,000 in that demographic.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

‘Y&R’ ratings for October 24-28 were up in the most important demographics. With 4,626,000 total viewers, ‘The Young and the Restless’ gained 152,000 viewers. The soap opera dipped in the ratings for women 18-49 with 581,000 tuned in. That’s a loss of 7,000 from the previous week.

November sweeps have kicked into high gear. ‘The Young and the Restless’ has many twists and turns planned. Lies will be exposed and lives will be changed forever on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Days of Our Lives.’
