Soap Opera Weekly Ratings November 14-18: ‘B&B’ And ‘DOOL’ Ratings Drop – Great Week For ‘GH’ And ‘Y&R’ Ratings

The soap opera ratings for the week of November 14 through November 18 have been reported by Soap Opera Network. Days of Our Lives and The Bold and The Beautiful saw ratings losses with both total viewers and women 18-49. General Hospital gratings were up for both total viewers and woman 18-49. The Young and the Restless had an increase in total viewers but saw a drop in the women 18-49 demographic.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES
DOOL ratings for the week of November 14-18 had a decrease in ratings for both total viewers and women 18-49. The daytime drama had 2,239,000 total viewers, a decrease of 33,000 in that category. ‘Days of Our Lives’ also lost women viewers 18-49. A total of 374,000 viewers from this demographic tuned in. This represents a loss of 28,000 in this category.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
GH enjoyed a bump in the ratings for the week of November 14-18. The soap opera had 2,716,000 total viewers which represents a gain of 94,000 from the previous week. Women 18-49 also tuned in with a total of 482,000 watching. That represents a gain of 31,000 viewers from the previous week.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Soap Opera Network reports a new low in the ratings for B&B with women viewers 18-49. For the week of November 14-18 there were 3,69,000 total viewers tuned in, a loss of 117,000 total viewers over the previous week. 454,000 women 18-49 were watching B&B which represents a loss of 56,000 in that demographic – a new low for the daytime drama.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Y&R ratings for November 14-18 were up in total viewers with 4,559,000 watching. The soap opera also saw a decrease in the ratings for a second week with women viewers 18-49 with 565,000 tuned in. That represents a loss of 8,000 from the previous week.
Soap opera viewers should take note that all four soap operas did not air new episodes on Thursday, November 25 or Thursday, November 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
