Soap Opera Weekly Ratings for November 7-11: DOOL & B&B Huge Ratings Jump, Y&R And GH Continue To Drop

The soap opera ratings for the week of November 7 through November 11 have been reported by Soap Opera Network. Days of Our Lives and The Bold and The Beautiful enjoyed huge ratings increases with both total viewers and women 18-49. General Hospital and The Young and the Restless both had a drastic drop in total viewer ratings. ‘Y&R’ also lost women viewers 18-49, while ‘GH’ enjoyed a small increase in that demographic.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES
DOOL ratings for the week of November 7-11 had a large jump in the ratings. The daytime drama had 2,72,000 total viewers and that’s an increase of 100,000 in that category. ‘Days of Our Lives’ enjoyed a significant bump in the ratings with women 18-49. A total of 402,000 viewers from this demographic tuned in. This represents a gain of 23,000 in this category.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
GH ratings were down again the week of November 7-11 for total viewership. The soap opera had 2,622,000 total viewers which represents a loss of 16,000 from the previous week. Women 18-49 also tuned in with a total of 451,000 watching. That represents a gain of 1,000 viewers from the previous week.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Soap Opera Network reports a huge increase in the ratings for B&B with total viewership. For the week of November 7-11 there were 3,813,000 total viewers tuned in, a gain of 125,000 total viewers over the previous week. 5101,000 women 18-49 were watching B&B which represents an increase of 23,000 in that demographic.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Y&R ratings for November 7-11 took a hit again, losing 94,000 total viewers with 4,500,000 watching from this demographic. The soap opera also saw a decrease in the ratings for women 18-49 with 573,000 tuned in. That represents a loss of 23,000 from the previous week.

I know that in primetime overall viewers don’t matter as much and it’s all about the demos. GH lost overall viewers, but gained in the 18-49 demo, so isn’t that a good thing?
