‘Pretty Little Liars’ Spoilers: Season 7 PLL Theory – Will Toby Cavanaugh Die In Summer 2016 Finale, “The DArkest Knight”

Pretty Little Liars spoilers confirmed this week that Season 7 will be the final season of PLL.  The Summer 2016 Season 7A finale is set to air on Freeform on Tuesday August 30, and then the final 10 episodes of PLL will air in Spring 2017.  The fact the Pretty Little Liars is ending is a game changer in many ways when it comes to upcoming storylines – but most importantly, it means that the writers can begin killing off main characters – seeing as how they won’t be needing them for upcoming plots.

A popular Pretty Little Liars theory currently being floated around the internet is that fan favorite Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) will die in the Season 7A finale.  Toby has been a central character since day on of Pretty Little Liars, a love interest for Spencer Hastings (Troian Belisario), and at one point was even thought to be “A.”  Now, Toby is a Rosewood police officer, and with a dangerous job like that, the odds are already not in his favor.

Pretty Little Liars spoilers tease that in Season 7 Episode 10, “The DArkest Knight,” someone will be killed off.  A spoiler video for the all new episode shows Toby’s blind sister Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) waving a gun around, and then it fires.  Spencer screams “What did you do?!”  And, of course we don’t see where the bullet went.  Did Jenna just shoot and kill Toby Cavanaugh, or is it another creative red herring from the PLL writers?

Even more concerning, Pretty Little Liars spoilers are hinting that Toby Cavanaugh will not be a part of Season 7B.  Eagle-eyed PLL fans noticed that Keegan Allen is one of the only cast members not listed on IMDB’s roster for the Spring 2017 season.  However, that could just be an error on the site’s behalf seeing as how there aren’t many details available for those episodes yet.
