‘Nashville’ News: Derek Hough NOT Sending Love Letters To Hayden Panettiere

‘Nashville’ co-stars Hayden Panettiere [Juliette Barnes] and Derek Hough [Noah West] do not have a romantic relationship off-screen. Derek isn’t sending any secret love letters to Hayden while she is in rehab for post-partum depression.

A recent story surfaced and was published by OK! Magazine stating that Derek, who portrays Hayden’s love interest on ‘Nashville,’ has been sending the actress secret letters. The source who spoke with the publication said Hayden’s fiancée Wladimir Klitschko was “grateful Derek kept in touch.”

This is just another piece of speculation as far as anyone can tell. Derek and Hayden may be friends off-screen but it doesn’t appear Derek is sending any secret letters to Hayden.

Even if Derek was writing to Hayden why would he do it in secret? Getting letters from a friend and co-star would be a welcome distraction. It would certainly show that Derek cared about Hayden and her health.

If Derek Hough is writing to Hayden Panettiere maybe the actor, singer, and dancer has been keeping Hayden up-to-date about what’s going on with the cancellation of ‘Nashville’ by ABC.

On top of suffering from a second round of post-partum depression, Hayden must have been worried about having a job after coming home.

Fans of ‘Nashville’ staged a Twitter campaign to bring their favorite primetime drama back to television. This helped Lionsgate TV get meetings with several networks. CMT has picked up ‘Nashville’ for a fifth season and the show will also be available on the streaming service Hulu.

There isn’t any proof that Derek Hough has written Hayden Panettiere any letters at all while Hayden is receiving treatment for post-partum depression.

However, it wouldn’t be all that unusual for co-stars who have become friends off-screen to keep in touch and check in on each other when one of them has a health crisis.
