‘Nashville’ Interview: Clare Bowen Wants Dolly Parton To Guest Star – Icon Inspiration To All

‘Nashville’ has found a new home on CMT and Clare Bowen [Scarlett O’Connor] hopes country music icon Dolly Parton will guest star.

In an interview with Glamour the actress revealed that she had recently met Dolly and was truly inspired by the way the ‘I Will Always Love Your’ singer treats people. “When [Dolly Parton] does her meet and greets she makes you feel like you are the only person that she wants to be talking to in the whole world. [Dolly] is just so full of love.”

Dolly Parton has a fairly busy tour schedule throughout the rest of 2016 and has several other projects in the works, including the sequel to ‘Coat of Many Colors’ – ‘Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.’

But there are two small breaks in Dolly’s schedule. The first is between early October and mid-November and the second is between mid-November and early December. Depending on the filming schedule there is certainly a possibility that Dolly would be a guest star on ‘Nashville.’ Clare Bowen may just get her wish.

‘Nashville’ was cancelled by ABC but through a tenacious campaign on Twitter fans were able to support Lionsgate TV and the show found a new home on CMT. Fans will also be able to watch ‘Nashville’ on the streaming service Hulu.

No date has been announced yet for season 5 of ‘Nashville.’ Viewers are excited that their favorite drama will be back and cannot wait to see the line-up of guest stars for the show’s fifth season.
