Kevin Mulcahy, Jr. made the announcement AfterBuzz TV will not only televise the Indie Series Awards but also the two-hour pre-show from the star-studded red carpet. The Indie Series Network director said, “We are incredibly thrilled to partner with AfterBuzz TV on bringing this year’s ISAs ceremony to a worldwide audience.”
AfterBuzz TV executive vice president Phil Svitek called the Indie Series Awards “exactly in line with our core principal of supporting and highlighting celebrities and connecting them directly to fan bases.”
The Indie Series Awards celebrate the best independently produced scripted entertainment created for the Web. There are 56 web-based series from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Norway and Singapore that have been nominated for 2016 ISAs.
The list of presenters for the 7th Annual ISAs is impressive. Martha Madison [Miranda Winterthorne, Winterthorne], Kathleen Gati [Valentina Winterthorne, Winterthorne], Mary Beth Evans [Sara Garrett, The Bay], Melissa Archer [Monica Reynolds, Youthful Daze], Melissa Claire Egan [Chelsey Newman, Y&R], Tristen Rogers [Commissioner Lex Martin, The Bay] are just a few of the daytime drama and web-based series stars you will see presenting awards.
