‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Where in the World is Port Charles’ Lucas Jones?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) fans have been missing their favorite, newlywed doctor Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), especially since his husband Lat Technician Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has been back on screen for a little while now. Ryan Carnes ensures fans that he is definitely coming back, but he is not sure when. The reason he has been missing from GH is because he has been busy working down in Mexico; not only is he busy shooting a movie, he has also decided to start a business there.

The film he is working on is called “La Boda De Valentina” (Valentina‘s Wedding). He explains that it is a romantic comedy, where his character gets entangled in a political scandal and he flees to Mexico where he plays a key role getting involved in a love triangle.

Kate Vernon (Lorraine, Falcon Crest) portrays Carnes’ mother alongside Mexican stars, Marimar Vega and Omar Chaparro. He admits that they are the only two American actors in the whole Mexican production, but the entire movie is in English. While he may be weeks away from finishing the movie, Ryan Carnes admits that he isn’t done with Mexico yet.

Ryan has ventured out and will be launching his new business as well. His company is called Flash Mobile (Flash Movil), and it will be the world’s first social media marketing cell phone company. He admits that seeing the how separate the rich are from the poor in Mexico is a huge problem, much bigger than in the United States. His company will be offering better rates, giving all the Mexican people, regardless of wealth the opportunity for better cell phone service at a much cheaper price.

GH’s Ryan Carnes sees it as a great life experience for himself and admits he is learning more and more Spanish every day. As for General Hospital fans, especially fans of Ryan Carnes and his role of Lucas Jones; he says do not give up hope. “Lucas is not done in Port Charles. I don’t know when…. But Lucas will be back!” Well, Ryan, we are holding you to that promise.
