‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What Does The Key That Laura Received At Helena’s Will Reading Really Mean?

After a great build up of anxiety for the reading of Helena’s (Constance Towers) will, we had the opportune privilege of watching this on yesterday’s episode of ‘General Hospital.’ Several individuals gathered at Wyndemere to witness the last testament of Helena. In her will she left items to Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), Laura (Genie Francis), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Liz (Rebecca Herbst), Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

What we thought was the most significant item was the one she left Laura. She left Laura a key, claiming it is the key to what she has loved and lost. Laura hasn’t had much of a story since her return to the soap; does this mean we will see Laura going out on adventure to find out the significance of this key? So what does this key lead to? What does this mean, is it possible Helena is just playing mind games as usual or is she being for real? Does Laura have a loved one out there she needs to find?

Long time viewers will remember that similar to Sam, Helena put a curse on Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura years ago at their wedding. Since the curse, Laura has had many troubles in her life. Laura never seemed to have a successful relationship and this curse seems to expand even to her children. We know Helena stole one of Lulu’s embryos, could this be related to the mysterious key? Did Helena and Stavros (Robert Kelker-Kelley) use Lulu’s embryo and the child is out there for Laura to find? Could it have anything to do with Luke or Stefan? Or somebody else that Laura loves dearly?
