‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday August 23: Carly Begs Nelle For Help – Liz Finds Mysterious Package – Ava Tampers With Morgan’s Meds

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday August 23 begin with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) riding the elevator with a nervous Dr. Kevin “Doc” Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Lucy cannot help being nosy and it doesn’t take much to realize that Kevin is on his way to meet Laura (Genie Francis) for their first official date; Kevin had arranged for a romantic dinner for the two of them at the Metro Court. When dinner is done, Kevin asks Laura if she would like to go to his room for a nightcap. Are you enjoying this fresh new relationship?

General Hospital’s Ava Jerome (Maura West) always seems to be the thorn in Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) side. We saw her steal some of his bipolar medication last week, and today she sneaks up to Morgan’s room, when she is supposed to be picking up Avery, and she has his medication in her hands. Is she going to steal them to make it look like Morgan is taking more than he is supposed to, or will she replace them with a placebo?

After a stranger insinuates sexual things towards Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), and physically assaults her, Morgan jumps in to protect her. Police arrive and escort the jerk to his car. Kiki called Morgan’s father, Sonny (Maurice Benard) to help deal with Morgan, but he had already proven that he is in control. Sonny encourages Morgan to keep up with his therapy and medication and tells Morgan he cannot wait to see he does.

General Hospital’s newest resident in Port Charles, Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) comes to Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) rescue again. Just as Carly fires the current nanny for theft, Nelle is right there to pick up the pieces. Carly immediately asks Nelle if she will stay and help her out by becoming Avery’s new nanny; will Sonny go along with the idea, or will he be resistant since they don’t really know anything about Nelle, other than the story she has told about her kidney being taken from her?

Just as Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is leaving Spoon Island, after Nikolas’ (Tyler Christopher) memorial and her private goodbye to him in the living room, there is a package leaning against the front door. What is in the package and who is it meant for? Laura had approached Liz about what was best for Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel), in regard to schooling. Spencer tells his grandmother that he would like to go to the boarding school in France, that his father had planned for him to go to. Was this boarding school just a rouse for Nikolas to reunite with Spencer?

Of course, Hayden Barnes Cassadine (Rebecca Budig) walks in the room and interrupts their discussion, and is strongly opposed to the idea, is it because she truly loved Nikolas and Spencer, or is Spencer going to be her next “meal” ticket? Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) takes her daughter, Hayden out for dinner and informs her that Nikolas has left Laura as the trustee to his estate, will she follow her mother’s advice and leave town, or stay and fight for what she believes is rightfully hers?
