‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Paul Makes Jailhouse Love Confession – Anna Shocked

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that being arrested for the attempted murder of Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey V Parise] is the least shocking thing that happens to Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] next week. Something Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] confesses to Anna absolutely floors her.

Paul told Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] that Anna tried to kill Carlos and then Anna goes on a rant and unloads all the dirt she’s been holding back on the PCPD chief. Anna confessed to the shooting but also will tell Jordan about Paul killing Kyle Sloane [Robb Derringer].

That means Jordan will slap the cuffs on both Anna and Paul and they’re hauled down to the holding cells at the PCPD. While that doesn’t seem the most romantic of places to make a love confession, that’s exactly what goes down.

Paul will first try and convince Anna to let him get them both off the hook for their respective crimes by letting him negotiate with Carlos to cover for them. Anna won’t stand for this, so then it’s time for Paul to change the subject of conversation.

While Carlos is out of lockup – likely talking to his lawyer Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] that Julian Jerome [William deVry] hired to represent him – Paul and Anna will be completely alone and Paul will get very frank with her about his feelings.

We already know that Paul has the hots for Anna but thought it was more like his skeevy interest in Ava Jerome [Maura West]. Nope. Looks like Paul doesn’t just want to get busy with Anna – he wants to have a relationship with her.

Paul has a lot of respect for Anna, finds her beautiful, intelligent, and fiery. Plus, the fact that Anna drugged and tied him up didn’t damage his affection for her – it likely enhanced it. Anna disagreeing with him and challenging him at every turn makes it all the more exciting.

What are the chances that Anna will swoon when Paul makes his love declaration? Absolutely none. Anna finds Paul detestable. Paul declaring his affections for Anna horrifies her. She’s trying to get justice for love of her life Duke Lavery [Ian Buchanan], not spark a new romance.

However, in the long run, who’s to say that Anna might not learn to like Paul? Sure he’s a criminal, but so was Duke and, let’s face it, so is Anna… But for now, though, GH spoilers reveal that Paul will get a less than enthusiastic response from Anna when he states his affections for her.

Let’s hope Carlos doesn’t overhear or he’ll die laughing at the two of them. GH spoilers also reveal that Carlos will spend some time taunting Anna as they share neighboring cells at the PCPD lockup. Will he hassle her about Paul wanting to be her BF?
